About us...

 

Casa Blatha was born from a dream…To create an oasis where it is possible to live in harmony both with our environment and with ourselves. The adventure began in 2010, with a piece of land with only three palm trees standing over the sandy soil. Today we grow in an organic garden more than 70 varieties of medicinal plans, fruits and vegetables.

The house is designed to make the most of the wind and we apply several applied green technologies such as a solar, man power mixer, a rainwater harvesting system, solar oven amongst other in order to reduce our footprint on the environment.

We believe in the importance of being an active member of our community. We are involved organizing cultural activities and supporting environmental groups which aim is to preserve Holbox´s Peace, Nature and Culture.
